Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers is looking like it’s going to be 2013′s most interesting movie. Why? Because it takes Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and James Franco and puts them in a movie from a director who made a movie about old people humping trash.

Yeah, it’s going to be interesting.

Korine is an experimental filmmaker and this movie is about four college girls who rob a restaurant to fund their spring break trip, but they’re busted. Franco bails them out and has them go on a murdering spree as a favor.

Did I mention it’s going to be interesting?

It appears that the core four girls (Hudgens, Gomez, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine) will appear in bikinis for the entire film … which … is … interesting. And it looks like they kill people and have a generally fun time. There’s no release date yet, but I’m going to go wild and predict a Spring Break 2013 timeline for release. [Movies.com, Collider]
