In case you don’t remember, The Six Million Dollar Man was a cheesy action show in the 1970s that was very popular. Weinstein Company is looking to remake that TV show into a movie and X-Men director Bryan Singer is set to direct.

Of course, the movie will now be called The Six Billion Dollar Man, mostly because $6 million is not going to buy you a very advanced robot. At least not a rebuilt astronaut. Singer has apparently had discussions with Leonardo DiCaprio about starring, but really? Leo wants an Oscar at this point. I really don’t think he’s going to make a movie called The Six Billion Dollar Man with the guy who gave us the extremely boring Superman Returns. [Latino Review via Movies.com]
