There are various opinions on Bane’s voice in The Dark Knight Rises. Some people can’t understand a thing, while others understand it fine. Some people think he sounds like a young Sean Connery impersonating an old Sean Connery, while others think he sounds menacing.

Well, the French Bane is completely different. Instead of going for anything resembling Tom Hardy’s rendition they went full-on darkness. Bane sounds like the Lich King or some kind of weird version of Satan. His voice sounds like it’d break your back. You can find it at 0:24 and 0:55 seconds in the above video.

Or it sounds absolutely ridiculous to you because you’re used to Hardy’s version. Either way, it’s crazy hearing another version of Bane. [via Reddit]
