A&E is wondering the same thing, which is why they’re developing a TV show called Bates Motel. It’s a drama that will serve as a prequel to the film. It’ll go through Norman’s teen and young adult years and how his mother and her lover damaged him while he was growing up.

This show could be absolutely disturbing, or well … kind of boring. Hell, it could even be like Dexter in some odd way. Could we come to love Norman Bates? Knowing what he becomes in the future?
